We encourage our
customers to stay in touch as part of our 'family'. We
receive many letters and photos of our babies as they go
to their new homes. We would like to share some of
these letters with you as recommendations of, not only
how wonderful Red River Bobis babies are, but how very
unique the Pixie Bob breed is! Please enjoy and let us
know if you have any questions. |

Subject: the kids
Hi Maranda,
As
you see the kids are doing fine. Everyday
Sweetpea is getting closer to me. She really
likes it when I give her a good comb in her
hair. She even shows me her tummy. Another thing
she has been doing is coming down the stairs
with Eagle when I come home from work. One thing
she will do is ignore me on days when I come
home late. Can't wait to see how she treats me
when I get back for Tenn.. Eagle is just as
loving as could be. Today I open the one closet
door to get something and he ran instead without
me knowing it. Well sweetpea knew he was in
there and keep looking at me and crying until I
notice that Eagle was in there.
How are you doing? Getting ready for the winter?
Well look forward in hearing from you.
Hugs from Me, sweetpea and Eagle..

Dear Maranda,
How are you doing? And How are the new
additions? School has been fine, exams are a
bit hard but I hope I make it!
Hermes has really adjusted himself. He has
found a new fondness for T.V. He really
enjoys watching Animal Planet. He will sit
at the front and watch the lions and bears.
And when they run across the T.V screen
Hermes would jump to the other side of the
T.V waiting for them the come out the other
side!
I
think he is about 10 lbs. now. He picked up
his new name really quickly. When I call him
by his name he will look over at me and meow
really softly. We are both very happy with
him. I find my boyfriend feeding him
rotisserie chicken when I was away in class.
By the time I get home they are both stuffed
and sleeping. hahaha! ...boys. Now it seems,
Hermes knows when I'm cooking chicken so he
will sit in the kitchen and watch.
Have a great week!

Maranda:
Saw the “off” the wall notes by
your web site! Who is this nut! I’m here to tell
anyone who would come close to believing any of
that psycho’s babble about you, that none of that
has one iota of truth to it.
We have ordered & received two of
the coolest Pixie Bob kittens on the planet. No
fuss, no bother and we still keep in contact with
them and check on the new babies etc.
Maranda & Clarice are very
professional, nice, cool and above all “real”.
They know their animals intimately and they know
and do business well.
Unfortunately there are some real
weirdo’s in all parts of the country and whoever
this kook is, she sure is being missed by some
village up there!

Hi Maranda,
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to
you. Busy time of year. Not only is it the
holiday season, but report cards are due as
well, and on a new system (which I know nothing
about). It should be an interesting week!
I hope that you and Ron had a wonderful
Thanksgiving. We did, thanks to Dixie! What a
joy she is! We just LOVE her! She is a
distraction, though. I spend more time playing
with her than anything else, which is why I'm
not answering my E-mails!
John really liked the cat-a little too
much. He wants to know how much he is and how
old he is, etc. You are really temping him!
I'm hesitant because of the vet bills, but John
says we will manage. So when you have a
chance, could you give us call, please.
Thanks!
Take care,
Sharon

Hi Maranda,
I
have a cat I bought from you about 2 years ago;
Chester (Red River Bobis’ Top Gun Winchester is
his registered name). (he’ll be 2 this month) When
I bought the boy, I lived in an apartment. My
fiancée and I have bought a house and have been
there for about 2 months. Chester is very happy
there, he has lots of room to explore and romp
about. We have no other pets and no children. He
eats well and is quite healthy, he is also still
intact.
I must also say that I have been extremely happy
with Chester. He has such a personality! He’s
always waiting for us when we come home and tells
us all about his day. I am also very pleased that
after a year of just he and I living together, he
has taken so well to my fiancé.
Thanks!

Hi, Maranda,
Buckshot
turned 1 year on the 17th, we think that was the
date you gave us. We don't have an accurate weight
on him, but on the bathroom scale he is between 10 and 11 lbs. This last month
he seemed to have gotten longer (length) and long
legged... he has done this before where he gets
length and then the weight catches up. He has a
good appetite and has food available all the time,
we still have him on a "growth & development"
food.
We were in
Petco the other night with Buckshot riding in the
cart when the manager came over and remarked on
what a beautiful pixie-bob we had. We were very
surprised that he knew the breed.
We hope to
take some good pictures of Buckshot so we can fill
you request for a current picture. I've attached
pictures of Buckshot and Rascal as you requested.

Just a note
to let you know we received the letter in the
mail.
Here's
a picture of the big one -- he has the
distinguished new name of "Packman". Original
huh -- and it's so fitting as he truly enjoys
being pulled around the house in one of our boys
wheeled back packs!! He rides, and little guy
runs behind grabbing at the dangling straps that
drag the floor! Little guy is still "Little
Guy" -- but we expect someday there will be an
event that will certainly define his character
just as Packman did. Anyway, here is a picture
of the one, and only Packman:
