Saw the “off” the wall notes by your web site! Who is this nut! I’m here to tell anyone who would come close to believing any of that psycho’s babble about you, that none of that has one iota of truth to it.
We have ordered & received two of the coolest Pixie Bob kittens on the planet. No fuss, no bother and we still keep in contact with them and check on the new babies etc.
Maranda & Clarice are very professional, nice, cool and above all “real”. They know their animals intimately and they know and do business well.
Unfortunately there are some real weirdo’s in all parts of the country and whoever this kook is, she sure is being missed by some village up there!

Please read what another buyer had to say about her encounter with Ms Wright

I usually don't like to bring my customers into private disagreements regarding private business between breeders but I find that I must respond to the slander and harassment Ms. Linda Wright has done upon myself, my family and my business.

Approximately March 2004 Ms. Wright contacted me via email regarding an American Bobtail cat owned by THREE owners:  myself, Ms. Day and Ms. Erriccson (see copy of registration papers).  In summary she wanted to purchase a BREEDER quality American Bobtail as well as one other kitten.  American Bobtail and/or Pixie Bob BREEDER quality cats sell for $l500-5000.  After discussing it with the two other partners, a price was negotiated and Ms. Wright sent a DEPOSIT of $700.00 which was non-refundable and a handwritten note stating this was a deposit (see attached note) for Alaskan Snobob Aroara and another breeder and/or show quality American Bobtail kitten.  A contract was mailed to Ms. Wright but she never signed it.  In fact, Ms. Wright wrote a short time later to state she had changed her mind about purchasing the cats . Myself and my two associates agreed to make an offer to Ms. Wright we thought would be more than fair. We offered her the purchase of a show/breeder quality pair of cats/kittens from any other line we might have from any of the three associates.  Ms. Wright refused.

Ms. Wright received a copy of our contract well in advance and knew that a deposit on cats/kittens is non-refundable.  However, we all agreed to repay Ms. Wright a portion of her deposit .  Ms. Wright refused. 

The three of us have made every effort to reach a compromise with Ms. Wright.  She has refused all offers by myself or the two other co-owners. 

In October,2004 she filed a complaint with The International Cat Association where the American Bobtail is registered claiming, as per her website, that she had sent funds to myself that were sufficient to purchase a breeder/show quality cat and never received the cat.  Again, the cost of a show/breeder quality American Bobtail or Pixie Bob begins at $l500 to $5000 so if Ms. Wright was to purchase such a cat from myself or any of the other two associates, not counting the kitten she wanted as well, it would be in access of the $700 she sent.  It was indeed a non-refundable deposit.  However, when Ms. Wright filed her complaint it was not against ALL THREE owners but just against myself, making the issue personal vs. business.  I responded to the complaint with the facts I have summarized here and received a letter from The International Cat Association stating they found no cause for any action against myself.  (see attached letter)

In losing her attempt to cause problems for me with The International Cat Association she began to slander and harass me with stating partial information on her website.  However, she has not stopped there.  She has contacted friends of my husband (who is not involved in the cat business) stating slanderous claims against he and I.  She has demanded my husband pay her cash.  In short, she has gone to great lengths to try to ruin my business with her bogus claim.  She has not gone to such lengths with the other two owners of the above cat.  If it had been about the deposit or the cat/kitten she would have either worked with one of the other owners or included all three owners in her complaints.  In continuing for over a year to state rumors and file false claims against myself and my family she has proven to the breeding community that this is a personal vendetta against me and an attempt to ruin my business by turning away customers. 

At this point, a year later, the other two owners of Alaskan Snobob Aroara have continued to try to contact Ms. Wright regarding a settlement.  She has refused to contact either party.  My husband and I both are in the process of contacting attorney's to counsel us regarding her continued slanderous behavior.  I am attaching a copy of the papers of Alaskan Snobob Aroara where it shows plainly that she is owned by three owners, not just myself.  A copy of the reply from The International Cat Association and, most important, a copy of Ms. Wright's note stating she is sending a DEPOSIT of $700.  Had Ms. Wright paid for the cats/kittens involved, including shipping, she would have received a top quality show/breeder cat from any three of the owners listed.  To this date she has refused to pay the balance of the cat, to accept any settlement of a cat/kitten or cash.
